Franklin, TN., June 24, 2002 -- StreamCast Networks, provider of digital communications solutions and products, today announced that it has retained O’Neil Communications, a strategic public relations firm based in San Jose, CA, and ESI Strategies, a governmental affairs firm based in Woodside, CA to represent the company.

StreamCast hired the firms to help the company communicate its leadership in the peer-to-peer market with Morpheus software or product and its new portal dedicated to artists’ MusicCity.com. The professional expertise and extensive experience brought to the StreamCast Network by O’Neil and Stroud will improve the company communication of its vision and passion about peer-to-peer technologies.

“StreamCast is thrilled to have these two first-class agencies on board,” said Steve Griffin CEO of StreamCast Networks. “Ms. O’Neil and Ms. Stroud’s professionalism and dedication to the advancement of P2P technologies and StreamCast are a driving force behind the success of our communications strategy.”

O’Neil Communications is providing StreamCast with an overall public relations strategy to communicate their company vision and goals to the press. O’Neil has been working with StreamCast since Q4 2001 on a project basis and has been hired to act as a full time liaison between key media and analysts and StreamCast Networks on all corporate and product related matters.

As President of O’Neil Communications, a Silicon Valley based strategic public relations firm, Kelly O'Neil has extensive experience in high tech and charitable trust public relations. Her skill working with agencies and directly with corporations embraces a wide range of technologies including telecommunications services, hardware, software, online products and services, semiconductors, storage subsystems, mainframes, and digital imaging products.

Prior to founding O’Neil Communications, O’Neil managed public relations activities internally for two of Silicon Valley’s emerging technology leaders. At Intuit, Kelly helped organized and support the launches of several Quicken personal finance products, including the new Quicken 401K Advisor by Teamvest, and multiple brand-building corporate and product public relations programs. As Director of Corporate Communications for eVoice, Inc, acquired in 2001 by AOL-Time Warner, she successfully re-positioned the company as a telecommunications service provider, launched eVoice Premium Service and eVoice’s ASP product line, while effectively positioning the company for its acquisition.

Ellen Stroud currently serves as President of ESI Strategies, a consulting firm that specializes in formation of a client's message for government relations and public relations as well as business development. Stroud began her career in the technology sector serving in various communications roles for Congressman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA), including Press Secretary and Director of Special Projects. Rep. Goodlatte is Co-Chair of the Internet Caucus, Chairman of the House Republican High-Tech Working Group, and Vice Chairman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property and the Internet. During her tenure with Rep. Goodlatte, Stroud developed and implemented strategic communications campaigns for key technology legislation including: The Security and Freedom through Encryption Act, the Internet Freedom Act, the No Electronic Theft Act and Class Action Reform.

Stroud also served as the primary communications liaison with numerous technology trade associations and decision makers. Stroud subsequently served as the Director of Communications for TechNet - a leading government affairs body for the technology sector. At TechNet, Stroud worked with key influencers to design and successfully implement a highly influential public policy communications plan around such TechNet positions as the Financial Accounting Standards (FASB) for Pooling of Interests Accounting and the Research and Development Tax Credit.
