Franklin, TN.—— September 16, 2002— StreamCast Networks, Inc., provider of digital communications solutions and products, today announced that it has expanded its executive team with a new Chief Operating Officer, Gary Sonnier, and the promotion of Trey Bowles to Vice President Of Strategic Development. StreamCast is expanding the executive team to grow the company and concentrate on the penetration of the Morpheus™ Peer-to-Peer (P2P) file-sharing products into vertical markets.

As the new Chief Operating Officer, Gary Sonnier will help in the restructuring of StreamCast Networks to help grow the business into the emerging P2P and additional vertical markets. StreamCast Networks welcomes Sonnier with over 20 years in the technology industry. Most recently, he was COO and EVP of Business Development for SolidStreaming, a wireless software startup. Prior to that, he was a Senior Director of Product Marketing and Business Development for Motorola. In his career he has held a range of management positions at Lucent, AT&T, and Philips. He holds an MBA from the University of Denver and an MSEE from Stanford University.

In his new role, Bowles will focus on the analysis of market opportunities in the P2P space and help drive the penetration of the Morpheus file-sharing product into those markets. Trey brings exceptional entrepreneurial experience to the StreamCast team having been a founder of the consulting firm, Daedalus Consultants. The firm was created to help organizations evolve and compete in the digital marketplace. Trey was also a driving force behind the independent music channel, Musicforce.com. Musicforce.com was rated the number #1 Christian site on the Internet in 1999 by About.com in August of 1999.
